About me

I am a 23-year-old Mexican-American born and raised in Houston, Texas. I studied rhetoric and writing at the University of Texas at Austin, and currently, I am applying my writing skills to blogging, social media marketing, and public relations for a luxury mattress brand called Saatva. I enjoy reading books, admiring sunsets, crocheting, spending time with my family and friends, and seeing new places that allow me to learn about new cultures.

I started this blog in December of 2018 in hopes of documenting subject matters that are most salient to me while practicing and refining my own writing and editing skills. I hope my writing influences people in some shape or form, whether that is to inspire, motivate, or empower. I also hope my stories encourage people to take opportunities that will lead them to experiences, people, lessons, and unforgettable memories they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
